Authorities in neighboring Gordon County say that they have broken up a theft-ring after getting multiple reports of stolen ATV’s.

In a press release this week the Gordon County Sheriff’s Department said that there was no video footage and very few leads in any of the stolen ATV cases.  However, a probation visit led deputies to evidence of stolen motorcycles and ATV’s.

During this search, GCSO personnel found Tyler Stanley, age 22, of 800 Blance Road, Cedartown, Georgia, who was being sought pursuant to warrants charging him with unrelated crimes. He was arrested without incident.

The detectives also discovered 2 stolen ATVs, a motorcycle with an altered/removed serial number, another ATV with an altered/removed serial number, and a stolen trailer.

Robbie Dotson, age 35, and Linda Dotson, age 33, both of Calhoun, were also arrested.

The trio were charged with a variety of drug and theft charges.
