The Gore Fire Department received a letter of thanks and praise from a passing motorist.

The Gore Fire Department posted a letter they received from a stranded motorist late last year. The motorist, who was passing through Gore in route to see family in Smyrna Georgia, had a car accident which resulted in damage to the car and left it unable to be driven.

The accident happened in front of the Gore Fire Department and Corporal Bryant responded to a call from the individuals family members. Not only did Corporal Bryant go above and beyond for the driver, the letter states that no less than six other persons stopped to see if they could lend assistance.

The letter states that the individuals in Gore have restored their faith in humanity and so enclosed a donation to the Gore Fire Department. On Facebook Chief King thanks his department and the individuals of the community who stopped to help the stranded motorist.
