Republican state representative Austin Scott kicked off his campaign for governor in Northwest Georgia on Saturday.  Scott is one of several Republicans in a crowded field who is running to replace Sonny Perdue.

Scott told reporters that he is touring the state, planning to walk a good portion of the state and meet with residents and discuss their concerns.  Scott started his tour at Chickamauga Battlefield and talked with residents and business owners in the Chickamauga and Rock Spring areas on Saturday.
