Georgia Governor Brian Kemp told the Georgia Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday that he want an additional $1.8 billion to be spent on infrastructure in the Peach State.  He also wants to expand health care training for dentists and doctors.  All of this is possible because Georgia is in good shape with a $11 billion cash surplus.  Kemp also told the friendly business owners audience that he wants to make it more difficult for workers to unionize in Georgia.  All of the remarks are leading up the governor’s State of the State address that he will be giving to the Georgia General Assembly today.  Kemp will also likely propose more pay for public employees and teachers.  Kemp said he also wants to invest another $250 million in the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority, which loans money to local governments for water and sewer projects. Kemp earlier gave out $442 million in water and sewer grants using federal COVID-19 aid.
