Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) and the Georgia Department of Education were at Menlo Elementary School on Wednesday. Crews from GPB were there to film Science in Action.
Menlo School posted on their social media page:
We are thrilled to be part of this amazing video series that aims to support science teachers with best practices in the classroom. It’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase the innovative and engaging science education happening right here at Menlo Elementary.
Our dedicated teachers, Mrs Erica Brown and Mrs Amanda Williams, and enthusiastic students eagerly participated, demonstrating their passion for scientific exploration and discovery. Our middle grades science teachers were presented a Golden Globe Award for their outstanding performance and teaching! Their commitment to fostering a love for science in our students is truly inspiring, and we couldn’t be prouder!
A big shoutout to GPB and GADOE for choosing Menlo Elementary School as a filming location. We appreciate their efforts in promoting effective teaching methods and providing valuable resources for educators across Georgia.
Stay tuned for more updates about the series and keep an eye out for Menlo Elementary School in action! We can’t wait to share this exciting video with our school community and beyond
