A new business in Summerville had planned their Grand Opening for today, but those plans had to be postponed.
The Arctic Fox, a new ice cream parlor located at 33 Marvin Avenue in Summerville, originally planned to open on September 24th, but those plans were postponed due to building inspection issues. According to social media posts, the business planned to open up today, but those plans fell through due to what they described as minor issues that need to be addressed to pass their health inspection with the Chattooga County Environmental Health Department.
The Arctic Fox posted on social media on Friday:
Our Grand Opening has been postponed
. We originally wanted to serve you this Saturday, Oct 2nd. Today, we had our final inspection and we have a few things we have to fix in regards to the building to make our friends at the Health Department Happy. The good news is that that it is nothing major and will be fixed in the next couple of days. That being said, our goal it to be opened at the beginning of next week after we meet with the Health Inspector Monday morning! We know you are sad, but we promise it will be worth the wait, and stay tuned for our virtual grand opening and some more fun things we are training our staff on in the coming days! Please help by sharing this post and spreading the word!
