Chattooga County Commissioner Jason Winters told AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio on Thursday that the county has applied for a grant to extend water in the Holland – Silver Hill area of Chattooga County.
The grant application was made earlier this week as the county continues to expand public water service throughout the county. Over the past two weeks Commissioner Winters held two public meetings with residents in the Gore-Subligna area, informing them of reduced sign up rates for the water project in that area of the county.
Commissioner Winters is in Savannah attending mandatory training sessions for County Commissioners in Georgia.
