RAHM will be partnering with the Chattooga County Historical Society in collecting, documenting and displaying the history of Chattooga County in Chattooga County venues. In addition to this, the RAHM will include artifacts and information about Chattooga County in the RAHM archives.
The museum will also be conducting tours of the RAHM for Chattooga County students in kindergarten through 12th-graders in order to teach them more about their local history.
Grant award money will go both into the research of these historical records and toward continuing museum Capital Campaign renovations and exhibit upgrades.
According to the Tillotson-Menlo Charitable Foundation’s mission statement, “the Foundation shall seek to support, promote, improve and maintain the health, educational and cultural institutions serving the citizens of Menlo, Georgia, and Chattooga County, Georgia, and some surrounding areas.”
