The Georgia State Patrol released thier weekly accident report on Wednesday to the media. 

While the winter weather kept Georgia State Troopers busy last week, there was only one accident with injuries that resulted in a citation being issued.

That was the accident at the intersection of Lake Wanda Rita Road and Highway 27 near Reece’s Tire.  The GSP cited 19 year old Andrew Tyler Hamilton for Failure to Yield after Stopping at a Stop Sign.  Hamilton pulled into the path of 46 year old Holly Ruth Cochran of Summerville causing the accident. 

Cochran along with two passengers, 20 year old Clyde Cothran and 21 year old Tommy Wilson were tranported to Floyd Medical Center by Chattooga EMS with non-life threatning injuries.

The accident happened last Thursday, December 16 at 6:59 PM.
