On Monday, the Georgia State Patrol released details about a crash that happened last Friday morning shortly before 6:30 AM on Highway 27 at Taylor’s Ridge. 

According to the report, a 1989 Ford commercial truck being driven by fifty-one-year-old Scotty Ray Frazier of LaFayette was traveling southbound on Highway 27 near Kirby Hollow Road when a 2019 Dodge Ram 1500, driven by thirty-four-year-old Joshua Ryan Baker of a Smith Rail Spur, Lyerly address, struck the commercial truck in the rear.

Troopers cited Baker with following to closely and cited Frazier for driving a commercial vehicle without a commercial license.
