The Georgia State Patrol post in Rome released their weekly media report of accidents with injuries yesterday.  There was one accident reported by state troopers over the past week that resulted in injury.

The accident happened Christmas day on Taliaferro Springs Road, when 39 year old Eric Green of Lyerly lost control of his 1990 Ford Pickup truck while negotiating a curve on the snow covered road.  According to the report, Green’s truck slid off the roadway and struck a tree.

The report stated that Green was not transported to the hospital and the accident resulted in minor injuries.  State Troopers said that the driver was wearing his seat belt and driving the posted speed.
