The Georgia State Patrol continues the investigation into a weekend wreck in Northwest Georgia that took the life of a teenager.  The accident happened on Highway 411 near the Floyd County-Bartow County line.

The GSP post in Rome is investigating the accident.  The Floyd County Coroner’s office says that sixteen-year-old Addison Moorehead was killed in the accident after the vehicle she was a passenger in left the roadway and flipped.  Moorehead was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle.  The driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries.

Moorehead’s body was sent to the GBI crime lab for an autopsy.
