The Habitat for Humanity Coosa Valley Chapter has helped over fifty families in Floyd, Polk and Chattooga Counties achieve the dream of home ownership.  The nondenominational Christian organization will be holding an informational meeting in Chattooga County later this month for prospective home owners.

Habitat homeowners must be active participants in building a better home and future for themselves and their families. Every Habitat home is an investment.  Habitat form Humanity says it is one answer to a critical need, and they believe that stronger homes will create stronger communities.

The informational sessions are not required, but they are encouraged and give prospective home owners answers to any questions they might have.  The deadline to apply for this year is February 24, 2023.

The informational session in Chattooga County will be held at the Chattooga County Civic Center on Highway 48 in Summerville, across from Truist Bank.  It will be held at 6 PM on Thursday, January 26, 2023.

Homeowner Applications are available online at http://www.habitatcoosavalley.org or at their office located at 504 East First Ave Rome, GA 30161.
