A myriad of Halloween fun planned for Chattooga County's youngsters this Halloween.

Halloween Walk

The annual Halloween Walk is set for 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in Downtown Summerville along Commerce street between Subway and th AM1180 studios. There is no actual starting point so you can start and end wherever you like. Merchants and organizations will set up tables along the street and hand out treats to youngsters. Last year more than 2,000 people participated.

Town of Trion

The Town of Trion will observe Halloween from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, according to Police Chief Chad Spraggins. Moore Street will be one way  from Hwy. 27 to Tavern Lane. Gray Street will be one way travel from Tavern Lane to Central Avenue or J.C. Woods Avenue. Park Avenue will be one way travel from Simmons Street to Allgood Street. Tavern Lane will be closed at Harrell Street and one way travel from Gray to Bulldog Blvd. Parents are asked to stay with their children while trick-or-treating,

Haunted House

The City of Summerville's Fire and Police departments Haunted House opens at 6 p.m. Halloween night at the Summerville Recreation Department on Hwy 100, Summerville.

New Haven Tract-N-Treat

New Haven Baptist Church will hold a Tract-N-Treat from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31.The church at 247 Dot Johnson Drive in Summerville.

Pumpkin Patch

The First Baptist Church of Trion is hosting a huge pumpkin patch through Halloween night (Oct. 31). The Pumpkin Patch, began with 500 pumpkins and more than half are gone. The event is a fundraiser for the church children's and youth groups.

Lyerly Truck or Treat

Lyerly United Methodist Church will hold a trunk or treat in the church’s parking lot from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Halloween night (Wednesday). For details call Michelle Floyd at 706-676-5645.

Son Rise Truck or Treat

A trunk or treat has been scheduled at Son Rise Community Church at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31.

Midway Truck or Treat

A Trunk or Treat will be held at Midway Baptist Church at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31.

Haunted Trail

A haunted trail is planned for Halloween night beginning at 7:30 p.m. as soon as it gets dark.
