Health Occupations Students of America, or HOSA, is one of the many vocational clubs offered at CHS. This organization is more than a club, it’s an organization that provides leadership and helps promote career opportunities in healthcare for students. Recently, CHS Senior Saromey Walker, competed in the medical terminology event at the HOSA region competition. Walker placed 6th overall which will allow her to compete at state competition for her second year in a row. The competition will be held on March 3rd and 4th. Saromey will be given 100 questions in which she must answer in an hour and a half. The questions will be over medical terms. She will be expected to recognize, define, identify, define interpret and apply these terms by responding correctly to the questions. We would like to congratulate Saromey on her region placement and wish her good luck at the state competition.
