Trion turned a Gordon Lee turnover into a touchdown to take the win in a hard fought defensive struggle. In a game that saw both teams  limited on the offensive side of the ball, the critical difference for Trion was Gordon Lee turnovers. The only points of the game came after a Gordon Lee fumble and the Trojans' last ditch effort for a win ended on an interception. It was a hard fought victory for the Dawgs, who will try to continue their winning ways against Christian Heritage on the road next week.

Chattooga had to play catch up for most of the night, being down 14 to 0 early in the game. After the half, the Indians pulled to within a single point, trailing the Dragons 14-13. Both teams would later score pulling the game to a 21-21 tie, but it was not to be the Indians' night, as the Dragons capped off the game with a final decisive score, taking the contest 28-21. Chattooga will be in action next week on the road at Dade County.
