The Chattooga Indians will not be playing this Friday evening because of the impact COVID-19 has had on the team. At least 8 of the Indian’s football team tested positive for COVID-19 prompting the cancellation of last week’s game.

On Sunday of this week, Chattooga High School Athletic Director Jeremy Heathcock said that this week’s game would be canceled as well. Heathcock told WZQZ News on Tuesday afternoon that Chattooga High School is working to get the two missed games rescheduled and an announcement would be made about any makeup games in the near future.

Meanwhile, there will be Thursday night football in Walker County as the LaFayette Ramblers host Gordon Lee.  Thursday’s game will start at 7 PM.
