A motorcyclist wrecked and ended up on the porch of an Etowah Drive after a chase that started on West Avenue in Cartersville early Saturday morning. 

According to a Cartersville police report, an officer spotted the motorcyclist driving over the sidewalk after leaving a business at Old Mill Place. 

The motorcylist struck the media on West Avenue and then began to weave through the lanes.

The officer turned on his lights and sirens bu the motorcyclists refused to stop and began to speed. 

The incident ended when the motorcyclist hit the residence on Etowah Drive and was thrown from the motorcycle onto a porch. 

The motorcyclist, a 39-year-old man, has not been identified. He was taken to Cartersville Medical Center for treatment.
