A motorist walked away from a wild crash off Hwy 100 between Cave Spring and Coosa Saturday afternoon. The wreck occurred around 4:00 as 44 year old Mohammed Alam lost control of a Nissan Altima, sliding off the paving and hitting an embankment which forced the vehicle to overturn and topple into a ditch.
Cave Spring and Floyd County law enforcement authorities responded along with a Redmond ambulance, all assisting in the removal of the lone driver who sustained only a minor head injury however the vehicle was virtually totaled. Alam was taken to a local hospital for a check up after the wreck. WRGA
