A Menlo woman reported a hit and run accident on January 4. According to the Sheriff's Department report, officers were dispatched to Highway 48 at 11th Avenue in Menlo where they were told by Mimi Selena Harris that a vehicle ran into the rear of her Dodge Caravan and fled the scene. The vehicle was silver, possibly a Nissan with bicycle racks on top. It reportedly fled toward the four way stop. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle. Harris' vehicle had slight damage to the rear.
