A hit and run was reported to Summerville Police Department earlier this week.

According to reports, Tristan Coe was sitting stationery in his vehicle at the intersection of Highway 100 and Highway 114, when another vehicle struck him on his rear bumper. After hitting Coe, the driver of the other vehicle took off and Coe was unable to get the tag or the identity of the driver. Officers noted that due to Coes’ trailer hitch taking the brunt of the impact, no damage was observed. No injuries were reported and a report was placed on file.
