A Chattooga County woman reported that while she was moving into a new residence, the home she was moving out of was burglarized. The woman told deputies on Monday that she still had belongings at the old residence and when she returned to the Mountain View Road home, she found damage to the interior walls and ceiling. She said she also found items missing such as" copper wife, a hot water heater, kitchen sink, cast iron heater, and exhaust fan. Also reported missing was exercise equipment, a window air unit, clothes and baby blankets. Some of the items belong to the woman making the report, who was renting the home, and some belonged to the owner of the residence, according to the report.
