The veterans of Chattooga County, along with the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Department and Chattooga County Radio AM 1180 are asking county residents to show their support for the family of Sergeant William Allmond.

 Around 7:45AM on Saturday morning, the family will be escorted from the home in Pennville to the Rome airport for the arrival of Sgt. Allmond’s body.Sgt. Allmond was killed in Iraq last weekend. 

 We are asking county residents to bring a flag and meet by the courthouse around 7:45 AM to show support for the family as the motorcade passes by.
