After several days of lower humidity – and lower temperatures, the temperatures are expected to soar into the upper 90’s by the end of this week.  The last part of this past week, the area has been seeing temperatures in the mid to upper 80’s and overnight temperatures in the low 60’s.  For the next several days, the temperature is expected to climb in the low to mid 90’s and by the time the Chattooga County Agricultural Fair opens on Thursday, daytime highs will be in the upper 90’s and overnight temperatures will only be down in the 70’s.  On a positive note, there is no mention of rain the weather forecast from the National Weather Service from now until the coming weekend.
