Two women were arrested following a fight at the Floyd County Jail on Wednesday of this week.  One of the women is being held in Floyd County for the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office.

Floyd officials report that twenty-two-year-old Gracie Jean Bray and thirty-three-year-old Caitlin Rae Whittle both got into an altercation with another inmate who was injured in the fight. Bray has been held for Chattooga County authorities since September of last year.  Whittle was jailed in January of this year.

Both have been charged with simple battery and unlawful acts of violence in a penal institution.
