A Savannah man is accused of having drugs and other contraband while on a prison work detail in Lindale, in Floyd County back in November of 2022.
According to the arrest warrants:
Twenty-six-year-old Delante Raheem Stevenson was found with two packages containing close to 28 grams of suspected methamphetamine, three packages containing 27 grams of suspected marijuana, two cigarettes, four lighters, a $5 bill, and five $1 bills.
The items were discovered in Stevenson’s pants leg during a pat-down search.
He is charged with possession of items prohibited for inmates, possession of amphetamine, and possession of a controlled substance.
