Earlier this week AM 1180 Chattooga Radio News told you about an inquest into the death of Floyd County Jail inmate Larry Stokes of Gordon County who died in the jail on March 2^nd after an altercation with inmate Emmanuel Smith.  Yesterday the Floyd County coroner ruled the death a homicide.  The GBI is currently investigating the incident and Floyd County District Attorney Leigh Patterson is looking at possible charges pending the outcome of that investigation.
