A number of state and local law enforcement officials were in Cherokee County Alabama on Thursday morning, executing a warrant in regard to a possible case of production of child pornography.

Law enforcement officials first went to a residence on Cornwall Avenue in Cedar Bluff, but the person they were looking for was not there; they then received information that he was located at a home located on Industrial Drive in Centre.

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Public Information Officer Curtis Summerville told us at this point, a person of interest has been detained, but no charges have actually been filed in connection with the case – which has been under investigation for some time now.

Those working on that case include the FBI, Alabama Bureau of Investigation, and Alabama Law Enforcement Agency among others.

We’ll have additional information as it becomes available.
