A LaFayette man said someone broke into his barn and stole his Troybilt 42-inch-deck riding lawn mower, a Cub Cadet push mower, a 14-inch HomeLite chainsaw, a 16-inch Poulan chainsaw and a Husqvarna grass trimmer. According to Walker County Sheriff’s Department reports: Last week  the man noticed the items missing from his barn on Veeler Road. The total estimated value of the items stolen equals $2,400.

The Walker County Sheriff’s Department can offer a reward for information if it leads to an arrest. The reward amount is based on the nature of the crime(s) involved.
