Jacksonville State University has announced that an employee has tested positive for COVID-19 and was in contact with three other employees. According to a Facebook post from the university, all four employees will be self-isolating at home for two weeks. Jacksonville State University Officials said in a statement, “This should serve as a reminder that the threat of COVID-19 remains in our region.”
The total number of COVID-19 cases in neighboring Alabama was approaching 19,000 earlier this week compared to almost 53,000 cases in Georgia
