An inmate, incarcerated at the Chattooga County Jail says that someone has been stealing items from his residence while he is locked up.

According to a report from the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office, Steven Burrage asked to speak with a deputy earlier this week.

Mr. Burrage said that someone has been taking items from his home while he is locked up and asked for an investigation into the matter.

Burrage was able to provide the deputy with a list of items that have been taken and the incident is under investigation.
