John Schneider, the original “Bo Duke” from the Dukes of Hazzard, is coming to Northwest Georgia in July.
Schneider is most well known for his acting in the popular Southern-themed CBS television show, but also has a long line of credits in both television and the movies. He also had a successful country music career in the 1980’s. Schneider scored four Billboard number-one hits that included “Country Girls,” “What’s a Memory Like You,” “I’ve Been Around Enough to Know” and “You’re the Last Thing I Needed Tonight”. He also played the father of Clark Kent in the television series “Smallville”, which centered on the early years of Superman. Schneider also starred as James “Jim” Cryer on the television series “The Haves and The Have Nots,” created by Tyler Perry.
Schneider will be coming to the Catoosa County Colonnade in Ringgold. Tickets for his upcoming show, set for Friday, July 7, at 7 p.m. can be purchased at www.catoosacolonnade.com.
