Journey Community Food Pantry will be distributing food to those in need today from 10 AM until noon and then from 1 PM until 5 PM.  The organization currently serves households one time monthly and will continue to do that as long as food is available.

* JCFP serves clients in Floyd County, Chattooga County and Cherokee County Alabama.

* You MUST have a current Georgia or Alabama photo ID (License or State ID) and a piece of mail (with the same address) verifying your residency.

* Effective 8/14/23 The ONLY mail accepted will be a recent utility bill, piece of government mail (IRS, GDOR, SSI, DFAC’s, a medical bill in client’s name (all items dated within the previous 60 days), or a current lease agreement. We can accept the proof of residency in paper form or online (pulled up on your phone). However, it must be current and dated.

* They cannot accept junk mail, advertisements, car insurance, prescription bottles, checkbooks, handwritten notes for those boarding in another client’s household, etc.

Please remember that you are required to show your ID and proof of residency EVERY time you come to the pantry as a client.

Address: 15 Redmond Court NW in Rome. Line up in front of yellow gates. Gate opens at 10 a.m. Please do not enter through the Church doors unless you have business with the Church. We are making every effort to avoid disruption of their day.
