Jury selection is expected to begin today in the murder trial of former LaFayette Police Officer Sam Parker who is accused of murdering his wife, former Walker County 911 operator Theresa Parker. The jury pool is being selected from Bartow County due to pre-trial publicity in the LaFayette area.   Judge Jon “Bo” Wood of the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit will preside over the trial which is expected to get underway next week.
