Jury selection begins next Monday in Bartow County for the trial of accused former police officer Sam Parker.  Parker’s trial will begin in Walker County Superior Court on August 17^th. Parker is accused of murdering his wife, former Walker County 911 dispatcher Theresa Parker.  The two were going through a divorce at the time of the disappearance of Theresa Parker. The decision to select the jury for the trial which will be heard by Superior Court Judge Jon “Bo” Wood, was made because of pre-trial publicity in the case.
