Summerville Police were called to Redemption Worship Center on First Avenue on June 18th concerning an incident of vandalism.  A deacon with the church told a responding officers that he suspects juveniles had written the letters “F” and “U” on the church’s sign.  Also, flower pots had been kicked over and trash was left at the front door of the church.  The vandals had also turned the water hydrant on and left it running.  The responding officer advised the complainant that the police department would put extra patrols in the area.
