Students in both local school systems will be headed back to school today after a week-long, unexpected winter break due to the weather.  Trion City School students were off on Monday for the Martin Luther King Holiday, and Chattooga County School students were already off due to the four day school week.

Chattooga County High School Principal Jimmy Lenderman told AM 1180 that he is ready to get back into the normal routine with school.  Mr. Lenderman will be an upcoming guest on our Newsmakers Interview program to talk about potential changes to the Chattooga County High School’s "flex time" program.
