In an tight game on Tuesday against Armuchee, the Trion Lady Dogs managed to stay undefeated in region play and improved to 14-3 on the season and 7-0 in region play. They are currently #6 in State.

The season still looks bright for the Lady Dogs and assuming they finish the season in the #1 or #2 spot, they will be guaranteed a state tournament appearance. If they clinch the #1 or #2 spot in the region tournament, then the Lady Dogs will receive a home game in the state tournament. Head Coach, Justin Gentry said about this team: I am so proud of this team. Each day at practice, they continue to battle with and for one another. They are committed to improvement, and are in the gym as often as possible. They love working! They are a talented and special group, and I love seeing them have success due to the amount of work that they have put in.

In addition to the big win, teammate Chloe Murdock scored her 1000th in the second quarter of the game on Tuesday. This is a huge milestone! Congratulations to Chloe and the entire Trion Lady Dogs Basketball team.
