A Walker County, Georgia man was arrested in DeKalb County, Alabama last month, according to DeKalb County Sheriff Nick Weldon’s monthly narcotics arrest report.

On Friday, August 12th, Deputies with the DeKalb County Interdiction Unit conducted a traffic stop on I-59 near the Fort Payne exit finding methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and prescription medications.  Matthew Brian Johnson (60 of Lafayette, Ga) was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Illegal Possession of Prescription Drugs.
