LaFayette Police arrested a thirty-four-year-old man after a traffic stop recently.  According to reports, the Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck the man was driving showed no record of insurance on the state computer records.  Also, the mans license was suspended.  Timothy David Reynolds told police that he had recently purchased the truck.  Officers say that they noticed the scent of burnt marijuana inside the vehicle.  A search of the truck turned up a baggie that field-tested positive for methamphetamine and they also found a capped syringe.  Reynolds was charged with possession of a schedule one drug, driving with suspended license and no insurance.
