LaFayette Police made a drug arrest behind local shopping center buildings off North Main, late last week on Friday.
The call concerned a disturbance at the next-door Carriage Hill Apartments.
Checking for suspects led to the search behind store fronts, where a Nissan Quest was parked with two men inside. Officers smelled marijuana and searched the occupants. Inside the vehicle, they found a baggie of meth, a glass pipe, digital scales and a small amount of marijuana.
Police arrested 46 year old William Chad Swisher of LaFayette, charging him with possession of meth and drug-related objects.
