LaFayette Police arrested an 18 year old man on a charge of statutory rape on Monday.

According to arrest records at the Walker County Jail, 18 year old Gavin Michael Harris was arrested on February 15th. The Department declined to release the arrest report on  Harris, saying the case is “still under investigation”. Statutory rape in Georgia involves sex with a person under the age of 16.
