The LaFayette Police Department was notified early Thursday morning, of a social media post indicating a possible threat at LaFayette High School.
Police worked with the Walker County School System to follow up, and the information was found to be a non-credible threat.
The Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office identified a Ringgold Middle School student as the origin of the threat and charges were brought against the student.
