LaFayette Police stopped a suspected DUI driver following a citizen call from the local grocery store parking lot on North Main.

Both persons in the Jeep Renegade had open alcohol containers, when pulled over. The driver had slurred speech according to the report… and she failed field sobriety tests.

Fifty-seven-year-old Elaine Elizabeth Bean of LaFayette was taken to jail for a blood draw. She was charged with DUI alcohol and open container.
