Today is the last day to request an absentee ballot for the March 12, 2024 Presidential Preference Primary.   Absentee ballot requests must be requested by the close of business today at the Chattooga County Registrars Office, located at 10017 Commerce Street in Summerville, just past the Chattooga County Courthouse. At the end of the day on Thursday, the Chattooga County Registrars Office had issued 73 Absentee by Mail ballots, accepted 26 Absentee by Mail ballots, and had 634 cast a ballot during Advance Voting. Early voting will continue next week from 8:30 AM until 5 PM.  Voters will have the opportunity to vote tomorrow, Saturday, March 2, 2024.  Saturday voting hours are from 9 AM until 5 PM.  Be sure to bring a picture ID when you come to vote.
