There were over 70 votes in the last informal online poll conducted by Chattooga County Radio at www.chattoogainfo.com, that poll dealt with the question that was most important for candidates running for county commissioner in Chattooga County.  Overwhelming those who participated said that Jobs for Chattooga County was the most important issue on their mind.   Currently there is a new poll running that asks the question, “Is a single person Commissioner the best form of government for Chattooga County?”   So far over 87% of the people who have responded to the poll have said that a single-commissioner is not the best form of government for the county. Only 10 of Georgia’s 159 counties are governed by a sole commissioner:   Bartow, Bleckley, Chattooga, Haralson, Lumpkin, Pickens, Pulaski, Towns, Union and Walker.  Log on to chattoogainfo.com and vote in the poll and we will share the results in an upcoming newscast.
