Floyd County Investigators and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are investigating the human remains found Friday in the Kirby Road-Autry Road area.

Floyd County Coroner Gene Proctor said no additional information is being released at this time; however it has been noted that they are working with Gordon County officials to see if anyone has been reported missing from that area.

No word yet regarding how long the remains may have been there.
