The Chattooga County 4H Shotgun Team competed over the weekend and thirteen 4H students qualified for state.

The junior shooters had to hit sixteen out of twenty-five targets to qualify for state.  Three juniors qualified from Chattooga County: Braxson Cook-Bevels, Christian Pence and Jonas Hardy.  Senior shooters (high-school age students), have to shoot twenty out twenty-five targets to qualify for state.  Ten Chattooga County 4H seniors qualified: William Elrod, Dawson Tucker; Ryland Eager, Caden Smith, Joshua Willingham, Tanner Nutter, JR Johnson, Harrison Guerin, Caleb Reece and Hunter Cook.
