At the 4H State Congress in Atlanta Thursday night  our County Extension Coordinator Rebecca Thomas won the William H. Booth Award as the top Extension agent in the state of Georgia.

She also received the William H. Booth Award for the Northwest District of the State of Georgia. They give four district awards to the various districts in Georgia and then from those winners choose the state winner.

Rebecca is a tremendous asset to the children of our county through the 4H program.

Also, there were 5 Chattooga County 4Hers that competed at 4H State Congress at the Crowne Plaza Ravinia in Atlanta. They are  Matthew Daniel, Alleigha Dennis, Nicky Mann, and Will Turner all of Chattooga High School and Devin Baker of Trion High School.
