Chattooga County Democratic Party Chairman Tim Shifflett stated that local Democrats plan to hold an event at Dowdy Park called "Hope in the Park" tommorrow, Saturday Spetember 27th.  Democrats plan to rally for local and national candidates and the event will include a chance to register to vote.  A representative for the Obama for President campaign will be speaking at the event.
